Module 11: Alternate Realities
The term “alternate realities” in general indicates any kind of virtual environment (based on an actual or fictional place) in which the user’s presence is simulated. This can occur in 2D or 3D and is often computer-based, although even fanfiction is considered by some to be an alternate reality.
